All conference abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts. Submission (only one will be considered per participant) must be an original work that has not been previously published. Conference abstracts should explicitly state objectives, new results, and conclusions or significance of the work. Please submit one page long abstract electronically as an attachment to e-mail (not in the body of the mail) sent by January 15, 2005 to the conference electronic address: em2005@ite.waw.pl. Faxed abstracts, hard copy abstracts sent by post, late abstracts, and abstracts more than one page long will NOT be accepted. All presenting authors will be informed about acceptance of their presentation by the end of February 2005.

Note: Before submitting, please read the instruction for Authors. This instruction itself can be used as the template for writing an appropriate abstract. Abstracts must be properly formatted according to the instruction for Authors and no more than one page.

Simultaneously with submission of the abstract please CONFIRM your preferred (oral or poster) form of presentation.

Late abstracts may still be submitted.

All papers presented at the EM'2005 will be thoroughly reviewed by the International Advisory Committee of our conference. The accepted papers will be published in one or more Special Issues of the Journal of Microscopy (Blackwell Publishing) devoted to the conference. The manuscripts should be submitted at the conference desk on the first day of the meeting.
