Implantable animal neurostimulator
A disposable, implantable device for electrical stimulation of nerves in small laboratory animals (rats, rabbits, etc.). Used with a large success in the research of extended neurostimulation of vegetative neural system. Powered using a battery (lifetime up to 3 months) or with a magnetic field (using an external magnetic field generator). Small size (12mm X 12mm X 6mm) and biocompatible coating minimize the risk of implant rejection. Signal parameters can be selected in wide range. Resilient to sterilization using UV or alcohol. Low unit cost compared to other solutions.
